After procuring a State of Washington Master Business License, business owners may apply for a City of Kirkland License as follows:

City of Kirkland Business License Fees

Business license fees for the City of Kirkland have a per employee fee comprised of a $100 Base Fee and $130 per Full Time Employee or “Full Time Employee Equivalent” fee. New businesses with 10 or fewer employees are exempt from the per employee fee for their first year of business. They are only required to pay the basic fee and register all employees.
